Six Mahindra SUVs that are coming up in the New Year

Mahindra has a number of launches for the year 2024. The company will launch six SUVs next year.

The list includes the much-awaited Mahindra Thar 5-Door and the Mahindra XUV300 facelift. Here's the list of Mahindra SUVs to be launched in 2024

Mahindra XUV400 EV Facelift Feature Update

Mahindra will kick-start the 2024 New Year with the launch of the XUV400 EV facelift. The new XUV400 EV will get a bigger face lift after its launch.

The upgrades will include a redesigned dashboard with a 10.25-inch infotainment screen. It will also get support for wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality.

Mahindra XUV300 Facelift

The second model to be launched is the new Mahindra XUV300 facelift. It will make its debut in February 2024 at a price range of Rs 8.5 lakh to Rs 15.5 lakh.

Mahindra recently discontinued the XUV300. In the new front and rear design, the XUV300 facelift will feature drop-down LED daytime running lamps (DRLs).

Mahindra may also set up connected LED light bars like the design of the SUVs in the upcoming BE range.

The interior features more modern features including a 10.25-inch touchscreen and a panoramic sunroof.

The engine specifications will remain the same, which means a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel will be offered.

However, there is a possibility that the company will add a 1.2 turbo-petrol engine with 131hp power to the vehicle, which will provide the vehicle with a new icine source ( torque converter) along with a 6-speed manual.

Mahindra XUV300 EV

Mahindra is reportedly planning to launch the Mahindra XUV300 EV under the XUV400 in June 2024, as a rival to the Tata Nexon EV. Except for some EV styling, the XUV300 facelift will continue to have the same designs.

The length of the EV will be less than 4 meters. Moreover, some BE-inspired designs may also be available.

The XUV300 EV will have less boot space. It also has a 35kWh battery than the XUV400. It could be priced between Rs 14 lakh and Rs 16 lakh.

Mahindra XUV700 with captain seats

After the XUV300 facelift, Mahindra is likely to add a new 6-seater variant of the XUV700 with captain seats to its SUV lineup.

Its rivals Tata Safari and Hyundai Alkazar are already offering a 6-seater variant with captain seats. The existing 2.0-litre petrol and 2.2-litre diesel motor will be offered along with the new variant.

Mahindra Thar 5-Door

The 5-door Mahindra Thar SUV is expected to make its debut in mid-2024. The test versions of the Mahindra Thar 5-door version have revealed key features.

Visuals of it being tested on the road more than once in a concealed manner have emerged.

It is expected to come with more comfort and minor design changes to make it different from the 3-Door Thar. The new addition of the 5-door Mahindra Thar will be a sunroof.

There is also a 10.25-inch touchscreen on the dashboard of the vehicle. It will have two engine options – a 2.2-litre diesel, a 2.0-litre petrol, a 6-speed manual and an auto paired with auto.

Looking at the running version price, the Mahindra Thar 5-door version will be priced between Rs 16 lakh and Rs 20 lakh.

Mahindra XUV.e8

One of the most anticipated and last of the Mahindra SUVs to be launched in 2024 will be the future-designed Mahindra XUV.e8.

Based on the Inglo Skateboard platform, it will be Mahindra's next-generation EV. However, what makes it different is its futuristic EV vehicle design. It will have three screens in the interior.

It has a digital instrument cluster, infotainment and a new screen for passengers. The dual-motor pack will power the XUV.E8 with an 80kWh battery (230hp, 350hp output).
