Poco, the leading Chinese smartphone maker, has launched a new smartphone in the Indian market.

Poco M6 5G has been introduced in the budget-friendly phone segment. Even if it's a budget-friendly phone, it comes with a 5,000mAh battery and a 50MP camera.

Poco has launched the new M6 as a rival to the likes of The Lava Storm 5G, Redmi 12 5G and Samsung Galaxy M14 5G. The budget-friendly segment is the smartphone segment with the highest number of users in India. The phone will be priced under Rs 15,000. The phone comes in three main variants.

These variants include 4GB RAM with 128GB storage, 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage. Of these, the base variant is priced at just Rs 10,499. The other two variants are priced at Rs 11,499 and Rs 13,499 respectively. Poco has also announced a discount of Rs 1,000 as part of the launch offer.

This offer is available to customers who purchase the Poco M6 using ICICI Bank cards. Users will get the opportunity to purchase the phone from December 26. The phone will go on sale on popular e-commerce website Flipkart. The Poco M6 is available in Galactic Black and Orion Blue colour options. The Poco M6 5G comes with a 6.7-inch HD+ display. This display will have a 90Hz renewal rate and a brightness of 600 nits. The phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset. The phone offers a maximum of 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The phone runs on MIUI 14, which is based on Android 13.
