Nissan currently sells between 25,000 and 30,000 units of the Magnite sub-4 metre SUV annually. With the smaller SUV being exported to the left-hand drive market, the production volume of the compact SUV can be increased to 40,000 to 50,000 units per annum.

The Nissan Magnite facelift will get subtle design changes. The interior is also expected to be substantially modified. The SUV is likely to get the existing powertrain options, including a 1.0L 3-cylinder NA petrol and a 1.0L 3-cylinder turbo-petrol. It will also get a CNG version.
